LDSInfertility on Facebook

I am so pleased to introduce you to some of my favorite features of ldsInfertility.org. It is a project that has been a long time in coming, and it is very satisfying to me to have it up and running. Of course, there is room to expand and grow, so I invite you to come back frequently.

As you navigate around the website, you will see some icons to draw your attention to certain interactive features:

pencilGeneralThe pencil icon indicates places where I invite Community Participation. These are opportunities for you to write about your ideas, feelings, opinions, and experiences relating to a particular topic. You will be able to submit your ideas and they will post so that others visiting the site will be able to view them.

notebookThe notebook icon points out places where I encourage a Notebook Entry. These will be opportunities for you to think about a subject and write about it in a personal notebook or journal.  The intention of these opportunities is for you to process your feelings which will then prove valuable to you as you strive to live with and understand infertility. These journal entries are entirely confidential, however, they may end up motivating you to share somewhere else on the site. To learn more about picking a journal, click here and read the first bullet point.

scriptureGeneralThe book icon is intended to accentuate the use of scriptures. We all know that you can't just look up "infertility" in the scriptures and have a long list of scriptures that help you know how to deal with infertility. There are scriptures, however, that have brought strength and knowledge to my life and the lives of others as they experience infertility. I would hope you will see these scriptures throughout the website and be inclined to mark them in your scriptures in an identifying color (something different than red). Then as you flip through your scriptures, you will know exactly where to find help.
